Well hello there!
A month of travel and we are finally able to update you with our movements!

So after an 8 hour flight from the Gold coast to Kuala Lumpur on the 1st of April we were put on a bus from KL airport to Kuala Lumpur's China Town to find some cheap accomodation. We were hit with sudden Culture shock. Malaysian people lined the pavements selling flowers, postcards, cigarettes and food cooked and served on the street! It was like the works of a good story or movie. We walked into the nearest hotel and immediately made friends with two Danish guys, Winsen and David, Winsen was obviously well travelled, you could tell by the was he behaved and the tyips he was given us! We got a price on the hotel we stumbled across and as it was just for one night we weren't to fussed on what it was like! It was a small box room with no windows, a bed with awful stiff sheets and off of the room was a toilet and shower, thankfully!
We washed then headed out into the unknown for food! Just outside our hotel was an amazing food stall but we were a little anxious about trying the street food so ended up in a chinese restaurant that wasn't all the great! After nearly leaving the rucsack containing our lives behind we decided we needed some sleep.
We woke after a nice lay in and got ready to head to the airport for our flight to Phuket, Thailand.
The flight was only an hour long which was good. We arrived in Thailand and were immediately hassled by Taxi drivers! "Where you go, I cheap" We exchanged some money and headed to Patong Beach, the party area of Phuket. We we scammed into staying in two hotels. Both of which were very nice, and within our price range so we weren't complaining, we knew what was going on so its not like we were roped in unwillingly, we needed a place to stay and wanted someone else to do the hard work!
After a few nights of exploring Patong we headed to Kata beach, a little further South a lot quieter. We were over the hussle and bussle of tourists and nightlife!
Kata was very nice, the beach was amazing, the water like crystal you could see the fish swimming without even getting you hair wet! Haha!
Phuket was beautiful but very touristy.
We headed away for my (Stevie's) Birthday to Phi Phi Island! My birthday was spent on the beach driking the day away! Was amazing, not to mention the fact I was now 18! Woo!!
After two days on Phi Phi we headed back to Phuket and booked a bus to Bangkok!
A greulling Journey...
to be completed!

Hello and Welcome

Just to get you started

semi-overcast

Welcome to our Blog.

We have created this for all of you who are interested in keeping a pin in your map following the route we are taking across the earth. It also for you to know where we are, what we are doing and how were going!
It is a good way for us to keep you up to date with all the goings on in which ever country we may be. Provided of course we have access to the internet and the time to write in our blog, and maybe even upload photos.
It is of course a lot easier for us to write one blog for everyone to read, rather than send 20 odd emails to each person interested in our adventure!!
Do not feel negleted if our blog appears to have been left dormant for periods of time, it will simply be because we have no access to a computer or the internet. We are travelling light so no laptops in our backpacks.
We hope all of you who are interested check out our blog often so as not to miss out on anything.
Its great that were able to share our adventure with you, and better still, Can pass on our experiences through words, photos, possibly even videos.
We will do our best to keep you all posted.

Stevie and Cam xxx
Our adventure is only 26 days away...

P.s

Much Love, Stevie xxx
